The Coronavirus Act 2020 Provision of Remote Education (England) Temporary Continuity Direction given on 30th September 2020 by the Secretary of State for Education stated that schools should provide remote learning opportunities for all children should they be unable to attend school due to individual, local or national lockdown or self isolation requirements.

The staff at Woodville Infant School have worked hard to produce a broad and balanced curriculum offer which is accessible from home and builds on the sequenced learning we have in school.

The Coronavirus Act 2020 Provision of Remote Education (England) Temporary Continuity (No.2) (Direction). The Direction was issued by the Secretary of State for Education on 18 August 2021 and will have effect from the start of the academic year 2021/2022.

Using a digital platform has had it's own challenges and we have worked together to learn and understand how to use technology and a range of other learning resources to support the children who are unable to attend school.

Parents are encouraged to talk to class teachers and school leaders if they are having any problems or have any ideas which will help promote greater learning opportunities.
